Funded Aged Care

If your loved one has already received their referral code through My Aged Care, you can begin government-funded care with Florence at Home straight away.

What this can include:

  • Nursing visits, medication support, wound care

  • Falls prevention and chronic condition management

  • Support and education for families and carers

  • Advice on equipment or modifications to make the home safer

Private Care Options

You don’t need to wait for funding to begin receiving care. Many families choose to start privately and then transition to My Aged Care once their referral is approved.

Private care includes:

  • Private aged care support: nursing care at home for older adults, including medication management, wound care, and support for chronic conditions

  • Private palliative and end-of-life care (any age, including under 65): compassionate, nurse-led support to ensure comfort, dignity, and reassurance at home
